Beige Book – Published eight times per year by the Federal Reserve Board, each Federal Reserve Bank gathers anecdotal information on current economic conditions in its district through reports from bank and branch directors and interviews with key business contacts, economists, market experts, and other sources. The Beige Book summarizes this information by district and sector.
Bureau of Economic Analysis – This U.S. Department of Commerce agency provides reports and data on national, regional, industry, and international accounts that present essential information on such key issues as economic growth, regional economic development, inter-industry relationships, and the Nation's position in the world economy.
Bureau of Labor Statistics – Find and download data from the U.S. Department of Labor, including wages, productivity, employment, spending, and demographic data.
Census Bureau – Provides statistical information on the nation's population and economy through decennial census information and many other surveys and studies.
Economic Report of the President – Search current and historical annual reports written by the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors, which provide an overview of the nation's economic progress using text and extensive data appendices.
