Adjunct Award Application

• Three $350.00 stipends will be awarded by random drawing from the Fund for
Professional Excellence.
• Applications must be received no later than January 25, 2011.
• Drawing will be held January 28, 2011, at which time the winners will be notified.
• Winners must be members of TYCA-SE or join before receiving assistance. .
• Winners must attend the opening session, Thursday, March 3, 2011, where the awards
will be presented.
• Applicants must live at least fifty miles from the conference site (Virginia Beach, VA).
• Applicants must be part-time English instructors in two-year colleges located in the ten state
region served by TYCA-Southeast.
• The recipient of the Nell Ann Pickett Presenter Award is not eligible for the part-time
instructor travel stipend.
