Posted: 05/19/2019

Dear TCC Community,

On behalf of the TCC Board, thank you for your participation in the Presidential Search Input survey. We received 586 responses to the survey.

Based on your feedback, institutional priorities have been established for the next presidential candidate. These institutional priorities will be contained in the Presidential Profile developed by VCCS. The presidential job posting for TCC will be advertised within the next week.

A Presidential Search webpage has been developed to provide updates and information about the process. Questions and comments can also be submitted. The webpage can be accessed here or by visiting the TCC home page and clicking Presidential Search in the upper right-hand corner.

Thank you again for your engagement and commitment to the future and success of TCC.  We look forward to your further involvement in this process.

TCC Presidential Search Input Survey

Posted: 04/17/2019

Dear Faculty, Staff, Students, Alumni and External Partners,

The search for the sixth president of Tidewater Community College (TCC) is now underway. In the coming months, a nationwide search will be conducted by the TCC Board and the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) to select the next president of TCC.

As the second largest community college in Virginia, the TCC Board recognizes the selection of the next president is one of the most important responsibilities for the college and the service region. The TCC community and its stakeholders play a vital role in this collaborative process. Your involvement will ensure the effectiveness and success of this search.

We invite you to participate in a brief survey to identify the institutional priorities and the key attributes needed in your next president. Your feedback will become part of the criteria used by the TCC Board and the VCCS.  Please use this opportunity to share your vision of how TCC can meet the challenges and opportunities it faces over the next three to five years.

The survey can be accessed here. All responses are strictly anonymous. The survey will be available for input through Saturday, April 27 at 5:00 p.m.

Thank you for your commitment to the success and viability of TCC.  We look forward to your input in this important process.
