Tidewater Community College’s Career Studies Certificate in Administrative Assistant trains you for one of the most varied occupations in business today.
Graduates can become general office assistants, file clerks or administrative support assistants in fields such as business, government, health care and education.
Instructors provide a solid foundation in basic administrative skills, such as keyboarding, records and database management, word processing and business communications, as well as advanced coursework in specialized software applications and office administration.
