TCC Automotive Locations

REGIONAL AUTOMOTIVE CENTER

The Automotive and Diesel Technology programs are administered by the Chesapeake Campus.  All 'hands-on' work in these programs is performed at an off-campus location called the Regional Automotive Center.  This is a new facility which has opened for the Fall 2008 semester.  The center is in the Greenbrier section of Chesapeake.

Directions to TCC Automotive Center

From Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg or Suffolk Using the Monitor-Merrimac Bridge/I-664:

• Follow I-664 through the Monitor-Merrimac Bridge-Tunnel through,
• Merge onto I-64 East toward Virginia Beach (Exit 15B).
• Merge onto VA-168/Oak Grove Connector (Exit 291B) toward Nag’s Head,
• Take the VA-190 Exit (13B) toward Great Bridge.
• Turn left onto Great Bridge Boulevard
• Continue to follow VA-190
• Then right onto Clearfield.
• Turn into the Oakbrooke Business and Technology Center at Network Station Road, and left onto Innovation Drive and left into the TCC Automotive Center.

From Virginia Beach and Chesapeake:

• Follow I-64 E toward Suffolk
• Take exit 291B/Elizabeth City (VA-104)/Dominion Blvd (US-17S) onto I-464 S
• Take the VA-190 Exit (13B) toward Great Bridge
• Turn left onto Great Bridge Boulevard
• Continue to follow VA-190
• Then right onto Clearfield.
• Turn into the Oakbrooke Business and Technology Center at Network Station Road, and left onto Innovation Drive and left into the TCC Automotive Center.

From the Portsmouth Downtown Tunnel:

• Exit the Tunnel and take exit #8 Berkley Ave/Chesapeake onto I-464 S. toward Chesapeake
• Take Nags Head/Manteo left exit onto VA-168  South
• Take the VA-190 Exit (13B) toward Great Bridge.
• Turn left onto Great Bridge Boulevard
• Continue to follow VA-190
• Then right onto Clearfield.
• Turn into the Oakbrooke Business and Technology Center at Network Station Road, and left onto Innovation Drive and left into the TCC Automotive Center.

From the Portsmouth Midtown Tunnel:

• Exit the Tunnel and take the first right onto Brambleton Avenue .
• Turn right on St. Pauls’s Blvd (US-460-Alt W)
• Turn left on US-460-ALT W
• Take exit #8/Chesapeake
• Bear left onto I-464 S. toward Chesapeake
• Take Nags Head/Manteo left exit onto VA-168  South
• Take the VA-190 Exit (13B) toward Great Bridge.
• Turn left onto Great Bridge Boulevard
• Continue to follow VA-190
• Then right onto Clearfield.
• Turn into the Oakbrooke Business and Technology Center at Network Station Road, and left onto Innovation Drive and left into the TCC Automotive Center.
