Mr. Gene Carter is the IDS program director, full-time faculty, and curriculum advisor to IDS majors. Holding a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, he has been active in the design profession for 33 years. His breadth of design experience encompasses residential, commercial, government, transportation and nautical design. His career has included employment for prestigious design firms as well as operator of his own design firm. He is also active as a events planner for specialty occasions.
Mr.Carter is an accomplished fine artist and decorative painter. |

Mr. Frank Torres is an adjunct faculty member with the design program. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in fine art from Lehman College in New York and a Masters degree in Business from Central Michigan University. Mr. Torres has studied under Maurico Lasamslay and Robert Blackburn. His career is diversified, and spans an active career as a fine artist and decorative painter, furniture designer, antiques importer, graphic design and conceptual design. |

Mr. Reichardt holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute in New York where he majored in interior design and minored in art and architecture. The winner of numerous prestigious awards for his designs, he is also an expert in AutoCAD design. His career includes residential, commercial and restoration design. Alex is an adjunct faculty member and comes to us from the Interior Designer's Guild College in Berverly Hills, California. |
