Interior Design is a mysterious career choice for many. It is frequently misunderstood by most. What, exactly, is an interior Designer? How does one become a designer? What is a career in interior design really like? Can I make any money being a designer? These are all the questions heard often from those interested in design as a career choice. These questions are addressed under Frequently Asked Questions.

A career in interior design is one of the most emotionally and financially rewarding occupational experiences available to anyone. Designers wield tremendous power in assisting individuals to better their lives and can increase a firm's efficiency and increased profits by thorough needs assessment, programming and the application of color psychology.

Whereas design as a profession is exciting, it is also extremely demanding of time, energy and dedication of its practitioners. The interior design profession demands that designers be proven qualified to represent the profession to the highest standards of excellence in knowledge and skill.

The educational experience in interior design at TCC is no less demanding of time, energy and dedication of its students. We expect full dedication of our students to the achievement of their goals in pursuing an education in design.

Our highly qualified design faculty and support personnel are here to assist you in achievement of your goals.
