Mediated Mathematics At Home Use Policy
If a student wishes to work with Academic Systems software at
home the student must adhere to the following:
- The student must attend all classes. The college attendance
policy of no more than 20% absence for a class will be required
of all students except those in Math 158.
- The student may seek permission from his/her instructor
to use Academic Systems at home after demonstrating and maintaining
an 85 average or better any time after the first 2 weeks of class.
At the discretion of the instructor students may seek an exception
to this rule.
- If a student has fallen below 85 the student must bring
their average up to 85 to regain this privilege.
- All Evaluate tests must be completed during class or in
the math lab only.
- The student who uses Academic Systems at home is responsible
for installing his/her CD and software on the computer (See the
Internet Client instructions that accompany your disk.) and being
sure their equipment works. However, students may seek assistance
from the Academic Systems help line at 1-800-681-help. For system
