- ORCAD, as well as
languages such as C++.
No prior computer experience is required
to enter the program.
The Engineering Program at TCC is
designed for persons who plan to transfer to a four-year college

engineering fields such as:
- Aerospace Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
The majority of TCC Engineering students transfer to nearby Old
Dominion University (ODU).
Others transfer to Virginia Tech and
to various colleges nationwide.
Articulation agreements guarantee
acceptance of TCC Engineering graduates into ODU's College of
Engineering with a 2.0 GPA and into Virginia Tech's College of
Engineering with a 3.0 GPA.
For detailed transfer information,
see the TCC
Student Handbook for Engineers.
