Dr. Dolgalev is a faculty member in the CADD program at the Virginia Beach Campus. He holds a Master of Architecture degree from Moscow Architectural Institute and a Ph.D. from the Central Research and Design Institute. He also had post-doctoral training at Syracuse University. Before coming to TCC he was practicing architecture in New York and designed a number of large projects around the country.

Mr. Bill Jackson is a graduate of The College of New Jersey where he
received his Bachelors Degree in Industrial Arts Education. He also
holds a Masters Degree in School Business Administration from Kean
University in New Jersey and Associate Degrees in Architectural Drafting
and Design and Information Systems from Tidewater Community College.

Mr. Tortomasi is an adjunct instructor with the CADD program at the Virginia Beach Campus.  He has his Associates in Applied Science Degree in Drafting and Design from Tidewater Community College; his Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Old Dominion University; and, his Masters Degree in Education from Old Dominion University.

Mr. Allen is an adjunct faculty member for the Civil Engineering Technology department.  He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering from Tidewater Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University and a Masters degree in Public Administration from Troy University.  Mr. Allen is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia and an active member of the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Federation.

Mr. Denison has been teaching for TCC as an adjunct instructor in the Civil Engineering Technology program since 1992. He teaches Concrete Technology, Civil Materials and Masonry. Bringing over 28 years of industrial experience to the classroom, he holds several industrial certifications including the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Concrete Field Testing Technician, ACI Flatwork Technician, VDOT Field Inspector, VDOT Plant Technician, University of Maryland NRMCA Certified Concrete Technologist Level 2, 3 and 4, and the North Carolina Department of Transportation Division of Highways certification. Mr. Denison also maintains membership to several professional organizations including ASTM, Hampton Roads Concrete Advisory Council, The Green Building Council of America, Post Tensioning Institute, American Society of Highway Engineers, The Precast Concrete Institute, ACI, and TCC Civil Engineering Technology Curriculum Advisory Board.

Mr. Vierrether is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a BS in Engineering Technology. He has been employed with MSA, PC for 15 years and is the acting Director of Surveying. Mr. Vierrether is married with two daughters and resides in Portsmouth and is a member of the Virginia Association of Surveyors and the Churchland Rotary Club.

Mr. Hebert is an adjunct faculty member in the industrial engineering technology program. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. He has also completed additional graduate course-work in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and Human Resources Development from The George Washington University. Mr. Hebert is a 2002 graduate of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Leadership Development Program. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Virginia.

Professor Michael Plumb is the Program Head for the Industrial Engineering Technology Program. He is also adjunct faculty at Old Dominion University, Frank Batten College of Engineering & Technology. He holds a degree in Applied Engineering from the University of Louisville, a Masters Degree in Management from Golden Gate University, and a Ph D in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia. He is a retired naval officer, who served in Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Deep Sea Diving (Mixed Gas) and Salvage, and Expendable Ordnance Management commands.

Mr. Rory Fitzpatrick is an adjunct faculty member in the Engineering & Industrial Technologies Division. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Norfolk State University. Rory holds numerous computer industry certifications and also teaches full time at a private school in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Jerasa has taught industrial engineering related courses at Tidewater Community College since the spring of 2001. Mr. Jerasa earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management Technology from Saint LEO College in 1995 and his Masters of Science Degree in Public Administration (MPA) from Troy State University in 1999.

Mr. Jerasa is a retired Navy Chief Warrant Officer (CWO 4) and is currently employed by Colonna’s Shipyard Inc. as the Director of Business Development – Government Contracts.

Mr. Lane has taught industrial engineering related courses at Tidewater Community College since 1988.  He earned his Associates in Applies Science Degree in Industrial Technology from TCC in 1985; his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Technology (with an emphasis on Industrial Technology) from Saint LEO College in 1991; and, his Masters in Management Science (MSM) Degree from Troy State University in 1994.

Mr. Pence has taught industrial engineering related courses at Tidewater Community College since 1996. Mr. Pence earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Care Administration from Souther Illinois University and a Masters of Science Degree in Human Resources Management from Troy State University. He also holds a specialist credential with concentrations in Total Quality Mangement and Methods for Managing Quality and Process Improvement. He is certified as an ISO9000 Auditor/Lead Auditor and in Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, LTd. and the International Register for Certificated Auditors (IRCA).

Mr. Ekker is the academic dean for the Division of Engineering and Industrial Technology. Mr. Ekker earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois-Urbana, MBA from Chaminade University of Honolulu, and Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineer Degree from the Naval Post Graduate School. Retiring after 22 years of active duty service in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear trained submarine officer, he joined the Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Department at Old Dominion University as a PhD Graduate Research Assistant where he completed his PhD course work and is currently a PhD candidate.
