Health Professions: Respiratory Therapy Program

Application Procedures

The following steps must be completed to be eligible for Fall admission:

  1. Apply to Tidewater Community College. Applications are available in the Health Professions Program Administrative Assistant's office, MN-103, Regional Health Professions Center, Virginia Beach campus; you may also appy to TCC online.

  2. Complete a Health Professions Application indicating Respiratory Therapy as your program choice. Application deadline is January 15. Please include an unoffical copy of your transcript if you have attended any other college besides TCC.

    Applications will be time and date stamped. Applications can be mailed or hand delivered to:

    Please take the time to verify receipt of your application and transcripts.  Only students with completed applications can be considered for the program. 

  3. To receive transfer credit from previous colleges attended, contact the Registrar at each college attended and have official transcripts sent directly to the Office of the Registrar.

  4. Submit online form, Request for Evaluation of Previous Educational Experiences SS-033
    Data must be received by the Office of the Registrar in order to evaluate your transcripts and assign transfer credit. Verify receipt of all transcripts and forms by contacting the Office of the Registrar.
