PORTSMOUTH CAMPUS: DUAL ENROLLMENT

The Dual Enrollment Program is a partnership between Portsmouth Public Schools and the Portsmouth Campus of Tidewater Community College that allows junior and senior high school students to meet the requirements for high school graduation and at the same time earn college credit.

One of the first steps in the process for any interested high school student is the VPT-Virginia Placement Test which determines eligibility for the Dual Enrollment program.  A Portsmouth Public Schools' student should speak with his or her high school guidance counselor to arrange to take the placement test.
