Born and raised near Washington, D.C. in Northern Virginia, I moved to
Norfolk in 1990. I graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor
of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics. The
emphasis of my Master's Degree is in TESOL.
I became interested in teaching ESL after travelling overseas several
times.
I grew up in an international environment, being that my father was a
trilingual interpreter. Teaching is my latest endeavor, after spending
years playing the drums and preparing European cuisine. I studied Applied
Linguistics at ODU, where I received my masters degree. TCC has been
a
great teaching experience for me. I look forward to meeting all of the
prospective ESL students.
