The Netherlands
Come to the land of windmills, tulips,
canals, and wooden shoes, of fine china, good cheese,
and great beer!
2-16 August 2002
The Netherlands is one of the most
fascinating countries in Europe, and the Dutch people
among the friendliest folks anywhere. We will be lodging
in Amsterdam for our tour, and utilizing the fine Dutch
rail system to visit the other places on our itinerary.
Rotterdam is a huge port city
on the Rhine, and very modern in design, thanks
to massive destruction in World War II. Gouda is
the town of the famed cheese, and Delft of the
beautiful distinctive pottery of that name. The Hague
is the quaint attractive capital of the country. We will
spend a day in each of these places as well as trying
to arrange a coach tour out into the lovely countryside
of Holland, the province of which Amersterdam is the capital.
The total cost of $2275 includes all
transportation, lodgings and tours. Due to the continual
fluctuation of the dollar, the cost may
have to be adjusted somewhat, but
not by more than 5% of the total. Once booking is made
with the airline, there will be a cancellation fee of
$200. If withdrawal occurs after June 1st, the fee will
be $400
