International Student Dinner
 |
Here's the International Dinner in full swing.
|
The
student body that comprises our international student population
is incredibly varied. TCC has students from 5 continents
representing 35 countries. Our largest groups come from
the Philipines, Viet Nam, China and Japan. and we even have
one person each from Argentina, Costa Rica, the Dominican
Republic, Italy, Sudan, and Albania. These international
students bring a unique cultural feel to the campuses of
Tidewater Community College and remind us of just how important
it is for Americans to increase their awareness of our world.
Internationalization is no longer just an idea but is an
active way of life for students and staff of TCC. The dinner
offers an incredible opportunity for American students to
make lasting and enriching friendships with students from
other cultures.

Desserts
are always numerous at the International Dinners.
Great desserts know no cultural boundaries!

Visitors
to the dinner make the difficult choice of what to eat
from the buffet line. There was more to choose than
could fit on one plate. |
