The Associate of Applied Science in Technical Studies: Homeland
Security prepares students in law enforcement, communication, resource
management, mitigation, and terrorism response planning to prevent/
respond to potential terrorist acts. Graduates are prepared for employment
with government agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security,
the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Defense, the Border
Patrol, local law enforcement, private security firms, and other businesses
that support homeland security and law enforcement.
