Appointment and Term of Service


2015-2016 TCC Program Advisory Committee Members


The number of members on any program advisory committee is based on the needs of the program. In general, it is suggested that membership shall consist of between nine and twenty members. The program faculty, academic deans, other college administrators, other advisory committee members, and members of the College Board shall make recommendations for appointment to an advisory committee. All recommendations are forwarded to the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs for review. The vice president submits the proposed membership for committees to the Community Relations/Curriculum Committee of the College Board, in accordance with the VCCS policy (VCCS Policy Manual, Section 5.2.4).

All new appointments will be for a period of two years, which may be renewed. This process will allow for both continuity and renewal of the committees membership.
