Student Center Amenities
Study Rooms
In addition to the lounge spaces throughout the building, three study rooms of varying size are available for students to use.
To reserve a room, please visit the Information Desk on the 1st Floor. The rooms are available on a walk-in basis if they have not been previously reserved.
Barnes & Noble Distribution Center
Located on the second floor, Barnes & Noble at TCC is your one stop shop for textbooks, TCC apparel, supplies and class materials.
Dining
TCC Bistro-to-Go Markets are fully operational serving fresh foods, sandwiches, burgers, snacks, hot coffee and PEPSI cold beverages for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Social Lounges
Located throughout the building, students can enjoy inviting spaces to study, meet with friends, or simply relax. You will find each area equipped with comfortable furniture which make passing time between classes more relaxing and enjoyable.
Computer Labs
Need to check your TCC email, schedule classes or work on an assignment? Computer Labs are available on the first and second floors of the Student Center for you to use. Computers are available on a walk-in basis.
TV Lounge
With a 90” Sharp Aquos television, surround sound, and plenty of seating, the TV Lounge is the perfect place to catch your favorite show, enjoy a movie, or watch a game. It’s located on the second floor.
Fitness Center
Located on the third floor, the Fitness Center offers small group and 1on1 training sessions,
cardio equipment, free weights, circuit training machines and a variety of boxing fitness equipment. There are four 42” monitors located around the Fitness Center to watch while working out.
Gymnasium
The Student Center features a full-court gymnasium equipped for basketball, volleyball, badminton and tennis. A divider can be set to create two separate half court game areas. Visit the Gym Check-In Area on the 2nd floor to check out equipment.
Gaming Lounges
The Gaming Lounge, located on the second floor, has HDTVs, the latest gaming systems, and a wide selection of video game titles provided for students to use.
If you’re more of an analog gamer, board games are available to use in the Gaming Lounge, as well as foosball and billiards tables.
Meeting Rooms for Events
The Portsmouth Campus Student Center is available to student organizations, staff, and community members to host a variety of events.
