How To Add Content to a Learning Module A learning module is an organized collection of content presented together. Learning modules are shells in which other content items such as files, folders and tools are added. How to Add an Avatar An avatar is a photo or other digital image that represents a user. Your personal avatar appears throughout Blackboard, including in the global navigation, in the notifications modules, and in journals, blogs, discussions, and wikis.

You can add any type of information to the Course Menu using the Blank Page tool. This tutorial will show you how to create a blank page and set page availability.
How to Add a Tool Link to Your Course You can help students access what they need by adding links to frequently used tools in different parts of your course. For example, on the course menu, add links to My Grades and Email. In content areas, place relevant tool links near instructional content.
