Policies and Procedures Field Trips and Student Transportation

College funds cannot be used for field trips of any kind.

Since any such trips are at the student's expense, no such trip can be required in a course unless this requirement is made known to all potential enrollees at the time of registration for the course. All field trips must have the prior approval of the campus provost.

All students participating in Tidewater Community College field trips are required to sign an Assumption of Risk form.
