| Current
course outlines are required for all courses offered by the
College.
The instructor prepares
the outline, which is then approved by the appropriate academic
dean. Each academic dean maintains a file of course
outlines for each course offered in the division and is responsible
for the development of course outlines for new courses proposed.
The outline should
include course number and title, prerequisites, co-requisites,
course description, course objectives, and a summary of course
content. Instructors should also include a description of
course requirements, method of evaluation, and required materials
such as textbooks, lab manuals, supplemental readings or materials
on reserve in the Learning Resource Centers.
Additional information
such as the instructor's contact information and office hours,
attendance requirements, policy on plagiarism, or other expectations
and information that instructors feel will serve their purposes
may be included.
