Hello, as the lead teacher I understand the development of trust is key to a child’s growth so I strive to make a meaningful connection with the children and their families.  Through careful planning backed by awareness of the best practices in the field I hope to create a natural environment of inquiry and choice, peace and compassion.  I feel great joy when I see a classroom of children absorbed in their activities and solving their own problems.  I hope your child will join in the fun!

Hello, this is my fourth year teaching in the Child Development Lab. I earned an Associate’s degree in early childhood education from Tidewater Community College and completed my internship in the Child Development Lab. I believe children learn with hands on experiences that help them explore the world around them and encourage their natural curiosity to learn. I look forward to getting to know your child and family and creating fun preschool memories.

Hello, as the administrative assistant it is my pleasure to assist current and potential families with any questions or information they are seeking as well as paperwork and financial obligations. I also enjoy participating in classroom activities when the teachers or children request an extra set of hands.
