OB Ultrasounds at TCC

Obstetrical Ultrasound

Obstetrical Ultrasounds are available at TCC on the Virginia Beach campus. These examinations ARE NOT interpreted by a physician and are primarily performed to provide sonography students with scanning practice. There is limited appointment availability (approximately 25 appointments per month).

Cost

These examinations are free, but donations are encouraged. Donations will go towards the cost of scanning and will allow this practice to continue. Donations are tax deductible.

Policies

· No exams will be videotaped

· A copy of the sonographer worksheet and some images will be given to each patient

· The exam images will be kept at TCC

· A registered sonographer will be present for all scanning

· No high risk or multiple pregnancies will be scanned
