This semester, you are
assigned five (5) community summary/analysis papers due on various dates.
Choose one (1) from each group. Each paper is to be no more than two pages in
length. You are to summarize each reading; then you are to analyze/evaluate
each as an argument/persuasion. Is the author successful in developing the
article? What strengths and weaknesses do you find in each (you may not find
both)? Did you enjoy the reading (yes/no) and why. What one “thing”
did you especially learn from it?
You must do the
following with each summary/analysis:
1. Produce one paper
from each community.
2. Include all
pertinent information in the upper left-hand area. Name is Community #?
3. Create a title for
the summary/analysis. If the essay title is included, make sure it is
placed
in quotation marks.
4. In the first sentence, you must include the essay title (in quotation marks), even if is used as part of the title, and the full name of the author.
