Welcome everyone.
I am here to assist you in getting you faculty website up and running. This can be anything from creating a folder on the server and adding a link on the Faculty Website Page for you to building your website.
Your faculty website can provide students with a wide variety of information. With a faculty website you students and prospective students can have access to a wide variety of information. On your website you can provide:
- Class/Classes being taught
- This can including a class summary to inform student what the class has to offer.
- Your course syllabus
- Handouts
- Office hours
- An intro about yourself
- Especially for new students, going to college can be intimidating. This can give students a chance to meet you.
- You can even provide a picture (especial online teachers) so that if a student is ever on campus or looking for you they will be able to reconize you.
