| EGR 120 is an online
course that offers flexibility by communication through email and the Internet.
Students must have access to a computer and the following computer features
or applications: Internet, email, MicroSoft Office, and MathCAD.
All course information, communication, assignments and quizzes are handled
through Blackboard, a course management software package. Students
do not need any special software to use Blackboard - they simply visit
the EGR 120 Blackboard internet site for all course-related tasks.
No class meetings are scheduled.
EGR 120 provides an introduction to the Engineering profession, to Engineering problem-solving, and to various software applications that are used throughout the Engineering curriculum, including Excel, MathCAD, and PowerPoint. Additionally, EGR 120 satisfies TCC's Computer Competency Requirement. |
