On May 3rd and 4th, TCC Racing's David Lee and Beno Rubin travelled to Carolina Motorsports Park (CMP) in Kershaw, SC to compete in the third & fourth rounds of NASA's East Coast Honda Challenge.

After a year off, Lee's #90 Integra returned to action in H4. The preparation payed off as Lee scored wins on both Saturday and Sunday in the H4 class. Even more impressive was the fact that this was Lee's first time out on CMP's new configuration. He set the H4 lap record on Saturday with a 1:54.398.

Rubin's #8 Civic qualified first in H5 on both days and never looked back, winning his class on Saturday and Sunday. This puts Rubin in first place in the H5 points standing. Rubin also set the H5 lap record with a 1:56.636 on Saturday.

Next up for Lee and Rubin is NASA Mid Atlantic's premeir event, Hyperfest on June 21-22 at Summit Point Raceway in Summit Point, WV.

For the 2008 season, Fred Cole unvieled his latest drag race bike, the Honda 900. It took several races to get the bike sorted out but it finally paid off. On May 17th at Northeast Dragway in Hertford, NC Cole secured his first win of the season with a 6.51 pass. Currently Cole is tied for third in the points standing.
