Anatomy Online Explore the different body systems using anatomy labels
that link to illustrations and descriptions and over 100 animations.
The
Human Skeletal System Images and brief descriptions of bones of
the human body. Also included are functions, parts, and types of bones.
Integrated
Medical Curriculum Modules covering gross and microscopic anatomy
with good quality illustrations, radiologic anatomy, basic physiology,
immunology,
and medical ethics. Also quizzes to aid students.
The
Visible Human Project The National Library of Medicine's Visible
Human Project consists of digitized images of male and female human
cadavers which were scanned using CAT and MRI techniques.
LUMEN: Structure of the Human Body contains
a series of interactive dissection exercises, a cross-sectional tutorial,
and some very helpful flash cards. One feature that should not be missed
is the "Learn 'Em" area. Here, visitors can learn about the
structure and location of various arteries, nerves, and dermatomes. The
site concludes with a thematically-organized collection of external anatomy
links.
