NetLibrary,
part of TCC's e-book collection,
is a virtual library accessible 24 hours a day, seven
days a
week from any computer with Internet
access.
Books
may
be read and searched
online or downloaded. Specific pages may then be
printed for research purposes. Over 6,000 online titles!
Important Message for Current Users:
eBooks and Audiobooks will soon migrate
from NetLibrary to the EBSCOhost platform. When that happens
your current NetLibrary account information; checkout/download
history;
current checkouts,
downloads and any information on holds you may have placed
on eBooks/Audiobooks; and any notes that you have created will
not be migrated to the new system, and will no longer be available
to you. If any of this account information is important to
you, please make sure to save this information somewhere safe
prior to July 16th, 2011.
Accessing NetLibrary
From any campus computer, go to www.netLibrary.com to
access netLibrary or find books in the library catalog. In
order to access netLibrary from home, you'll
need to create an account (see instructions below).
Creating
An Account On Campus
In order to access NetLibrary from home,
you'll need to establish an account from a campus computer.
Go to the NetLibrary home page at www.netLibrary.com and
click on the Create a Free Account link at the top of the page. Fill in the
requested information and click on Create Account.
Finding Books
You can find NetLibrary and other e-books
in the TCC's
library catalog.
Choose
a KEYWORD search that you would like to perform and
limit your KEYWORD search using the e-resources option.
Enter your search terms in the box provided and
click on the Search button. Or you can search NetLibrary
directly.
Printing Pages from a Book
You must use the printer icon in Acrobat which is located
at the top of the page that you are viewing. Restrictions
set
by netLibrary allow you to only print one page at a time.
