TCC HOSTS VMI PROFESSOR OF MILITARY HISTORY
Dr. Eric Osborne to lecture on Nov. 16
NORFOLK, Va. – (Nov. 8, 2007) – Eric Osborne, a noted professor of military history at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI), will present “Confederate Blockade Runners of the Civil War,” as part of Tidewater Community College’s John R. Moore Memorial Military History Lectures.
The history talk will be on Friday, Nov. 16, at 5 p.m. in room 2502 of the Martin Building on TCC’s Norfolk Campus, 300 Granby St.
The John R. Moore Memorial Military History Lectures are free and open to the public. The series honors the memory of John Moore, an esteemed history professor at TCC’s Norfolk Campus.
