TCC Commemorates Site of Student Sit-Ins with Unveiling of Documentary Mural and Presentation of Docudrama - The former Woolworth's building in Norfolk relived a moment in history on Feb. 25, and now bears a mural and plaque as testimony. The structure on the corner of Freemason and Granby, now TCC's Walker Building, was the site of civil rights actions - notably a sit-in by 38 college students on Feb. 12, 1960. ~ video |

TCC and the city of Chesapeake announced plans June 30 for TCC’s
Regional Automotive Technology/Workforce Development Center,
to be housed in a 30,000 square-foot facility in the Oakbrooke
Business and Technology Center, a new 115-acre business park
