Winner of the Academic Senate of California Community Colleges’ 2006 Regina Standback-Stroud Diversity Award, Kimberly Beatty has over 12 years’ experience in higher education as a faculty member and administrator. She has developed curricula for African-American studies courses and taken leadership roles in raising diversity awareness. Beatty earned both her B.A. and M.A. in English from Morgan State University and received her certification in education courses from Sojourner-Douglass College. |
