Bio:

|
A literary scholar and published writer in eight genres, Robert Arthur holds an M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of Arkansas. Arthur performs and produces poetic theatricals that often focus on sea-related themes. He teaches courses in English and creative writing and earned both his B.A. and M.A. in English from the University of Richmond. He was a 2008 nominee for Virginia’s poet laureate. |

Robert Kunzinger joined TCC in 1989 and has directed, organized and executed 15 study abroad trips to St. Petersburg, Russia. A member of the college’s international education committee, he has worked for the inclusion of international education in courses across the curriculum. A published author, his works include: Prof: One Guy Talking, Out of Nowhere: Scenes from St Petersburg, Blessed Twilight, The Story of Vincent Van Gogh, The Music of Leaves, Biographical Notes, and Vincent. Kunzinger holds a B.A. in mass communications from St. Bonaventure University and an M.A. in humanities and an M.F.A. in creative writing from Old Dominion University. |

Susan Boland has over 18 years of teaching experience at the college level and holds an M.F.A. from Old Dominion University. She has developed programs to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to Japanese executives and writing and pronunciation for NASA. She earned her B.A. from New School University and an M.A. from George Mason University. |

Bio:

Tom Ellis has taught college-level English composition, English literature and humanities courses. His international experience includes teaching at the American College of Greece, the Sichuan Institute of Foreign Languages in China and the Advanced Studies in England Program in Bath. An active environmentalist, Ellis serves as state secretary for the Va. Chapter of the Sierra Club. He has written and presented conference papers on the topic of Gaian Humanism, a concept that explores the interface between humanistic inquiry and ecological awareness, understanding and responsibility. Ellis holds a B.A. in English from Ohio Wesleyan University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in English, both from the University of Oregon. |

Nancy Jolemore began her teaching career as a graduate teaching assistant of English at Old Dominion University. She went on to become a part-time faculty member at TCC and ODU, teaching developmental writing and composition. She now serves as a full-time assistant professor of English at TCC. Jolemore holds a B.A. in English and creative writing, an M.A. in English with a teaching emphasis and an M.F.A. in creative writing, from Old Dominion University. |
