|
Michael Plumb’s work in industry includes positions ranging from senior engineering analyst to operations coordinator to superintendent of maintenance. At TCC, Plum teaches courses in industrial management, materials and processes of industry and mechanics. He develops and teaches engineering classes and laboratories, creates innovative instructional materials and laboratory experiences and maintains up-to-date equipment and facilities. Plumb recently completed all course work toward a Ph.D. in engineering management and systems engineering from Old Dominion University. He holds a B.S. in applied engineering from the University of Louisville and an MBA from Golden Gate University. |

Brenda Sedlacek has over 12 years’ experience in higher education, serving as a faculty member and, more recently, as an administrator. With a background in electrical engineering and information technology, Sedlacek focuses on increasing the college’s links to business and industry, as well as forging ties with Virginia Beach public schools to increase dual enrollments and articulation agreements., Sedlacek holds a B.S.E.E. ( electrical engineering) from the University of Southern California and an M.I.T. (information technology) from Virginia Tech. |
