After retiring from the Navy, Calvin Scheidt joined the TCC faculty as instructor of the Homeport Training Program at Fleet Training Center in Norfolk where he taught a variety of supply subjects at the Navy “C” school. In 2000 he was promoted to the position of supply department head and later became director of government programs. He serves as associate vice president for military programs. Scheidt directs and teaches strategy and policy for the Naval War College, Fleet Seminar Program, business management and political science for several local universities and colleges. Scheidt holds an M.P.A. (public administration) from Troy State University and a Ph.D. in political science from Columbus University. |
