Dr. Quintin Bullock leads the largest of four campuses in the TCC system, enrolling more than 20,000 students annually. Instrumental in establishing a Middle College program in partnership with Norfolk Public Schools, Bullock also played an active role in the accreditation of the college’s culinary arts program. His professional publications include the paper, Student Affairs: Becoming Involved and Being Understood, in the National Association of Student Affairs Professionals’ newsletter. Previously, Bullock served as executive dean at Monroe Community College in upstate New York. He earned his B.S. and M.Ed. from Prairie View A&M University and his D.D.S. from the University of Texas Health Science Center. He completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. |

Alex J. Kajstura came to TCC from Daytona Beach Community College in Florida, where he served for eight years, first as district-wide dean of the School of Business and Technologies and, most recently, as provost of the college’s two largest branch campuses. His expertise is in the areas of academic programs and facilities development, innovative program delivery, technology in education and online programs. A lifelong educator who has served in five community colleges in three states, Kajstura facilitates partnerships with K-12 school districts and with public and private universities. He holds a B.S. in chemistry from Silesian University in Poland, an M.B.A. from LeTourneau University, an M.S. in organic chemistry from Texas Tech University and a Ph.D. in higher education from Southern Illinois University. |

Terry L. Jones’ 36-year career at TCC includes serving as vice president for college transfer education, dean of the college’s humanities and social sciences division, dean of instruction and student services.. Prior to assuming these administrative posts, he taught history at TCC for 16 years. His leadership as Portsmouth Campus provost has brought about the successful First College, a partnership with public schools that starts high school seniors on the road to college. Jones earned both his A.B. and M.A. in history from Samford University and completed his Ph.D. in religious history at Vanderbilt University. |

Founding dean of TCC’s division of health sciences, Linda M. Rice served as director of respiratory care at Maryview Hospital prior to joining the college in 1977. At TCC, she has served as program director for respiratory therapy, chair of the academic division for health science technologies and special assistant to the president for military affairs and community outreach, before becoming vice president for workforce development where she honed her skills in partnership building. Rice holds a B.A. from Randolph Macon Woman’s College and an M.S. in adult education and a Ph.D. in urban services from Old Dominion University. She completed professional training in respiratory therapy at the University of Chicago. |
