With over 10 years’ experience as a certified public accountant, Cynthia Bird has worked for Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young and KPMG, specializing in corporate consolidations and managing all aspects of tax compliance. Bird serves as a lead volunteer for TCC’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. She holds her B.S. and M.A. from Virginia Tech. |

A certified public accountant, Scott Carlson worked in public accounting and private industry prior to joining the TCC faculty in 2006. His professional experience includes financial accounting, reporting and taxation. He holds a B.S. in accounting from Loyola Marymount University and an M.S. with a taxation emphasis from Golden Gate University. |
