PRESENTS THE 34 TH ANNUAL ART FACULTY EXHIBITION

coincides with Olde Towne’s 8 th Annual Arts & Antiques Open
House
PORTSMOUTH, Va. – (Nov. 18,
2003) – Tidewater Community College’s 34
th Annual Art Faculty Exhibition opens this Friday at the Visual
Arts Center, 340 High Street, in Portsmouth. An opening reception
is planned for 6 p.m. to showcase the work of more than 20 TCC faculty
members. The exhibition will be on view Nov. 22 to Jan. 11.
The Art Faculty Exhibition
is held in conjunction with Olde Towne’s 9 th Annual Arts and Antiques
open house. The event kicks off the holiday season in downtown
Portsmouth that includes open houses or receptions at most galleries
and antique shops, holiday shopping, refreshments and an antique
car show in the 500 block of High Street.
At 7 p.m., TCC president
Deborah DiCroce will announce the artworks selected for TCC’s permanent
collection from the exhibition.
The Visual Arts Center galleries
are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The reception and the exhibition

Tidewater
