TCC HELD CANDLELIGHT VIGILS HONORING TECH VICTIMS
HAMPTON ROADS, Va. – (April 19, 2007) – As part of an observance at colleges and universities across the state, sponsored by Virginia21, Tidewater Community College held a candlelight vigil on April 19 at each of its four campuses to honor and remember the victims of the Virginia Tech tragedy.
TCC also offers its students and communities a way to send e-mail expressing condolences and thoughts of support for colleagues and fellow students at Virginia Tech: ThoughtsForVirginiaTech@tcc.edu.

Tidewater Community College
is the second largest of the 23 community colleges in the Commonwealth
of Virginia, enrolling more than 37,000 students annually. The 37th
largest in the nation’s 1,600 community-college network, TCC
ranks among the 50 fastest-growing large community colleges. Founded
in 1968 as a part of the Virginia Community College System, the
