TCC’S BARNES & NOBLE OFFERS “COMMENCEMENT FAIR”
In honor of TCC’s upcoming May 11graduation of nearly 1,000 students
HAMPTON ROADS, Va. – (March 13, 2007) – Tidewater Community College’s new Barnes & Noble bookstores have begun operation on all four campuses, in plenty of time for May 11 commencement needs.
Celebrating the first commencement in partnership with TCC, Barnes & Noble will offer a “Commencement Fair” with graduation caps and gowns, diploma frames (discounted during the fair), class rings and other items at special dates and times on each campus.
Tuesday, April 10
Norfolk Campus -- 10 a.m. to 1 p.m; temporary location, 300 Granby St.,
6th floor, until the new superstore opens in MacArthur Mall this summer
Virginia Beach Campus -- 3 to 6 p.m.; Kempsville Building, room D123
Wednesday, April 11
Portsmouth Campus -- 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Beazley Building, Bay 5, room 523
Chesapeake Campus -- 3 to 6 p.m.; Pass Building, room 118

Tidewater Community College
is the second largest of the 23 community colleges in the Commonwealth
of Virginia, enrolling more than 37,000 students annually. The 37th
largest in the nation’s 1,600 community-college network, TCC
ranks among the 50 fastest-growing large community colleges. Founded
in 1968 as a part of the Virginia Community College System, the
