TCC Professor Earns Inaugural Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence
He challenges both students and a classic psychology study


Richmond – Dr. James O’Brien, who has taught psychology at Tidewater Community College for 35 years, will be named the inaugural recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence.  O’Brien will be formally presented with the award at next week’s Annual Meeting for Virginia’s Community Colleges in Portsmouth.
