TCC HOSTS VMI PROFESSOR OF MILITARY HISTORY
Malcolm Muir, chairman of VMI’s Military History Dept., to lecture April 13
NORFOLK, Va. – (April 2, 2007) – Malcolm Muir, chairman of the Military History Department of Virginia Military Institute, will open the third presentation of Tidewater Community College’s John R. Moore Memorial Military lecture series.
Professor Muir will lecture on “U.S. Navy Battleships in the Atlantic” at TCC’s Norfolk Campus on Friday, April 13, at 5 p.m. in Room 2502, 5th floor of the Martin Bldg, 300 Granby St., Norfolk.
The John R. Moore Memorial Military lecture series is free and open to the public. The series honors the memory of John Moore, an esteemed history professor at TCC’s Norfolk Campus who died suddenly last year.
