Students from Chef
Deanna Freridge's International Cuisine class turned out an
award-winning entry for the annual Sysco Hampton Roads and
March of Dimes 2007 Signature Chef's Auction, a fundraiser for
the March of Dimes. Not only did TCC win the People's Choice
award, the team brought in a $2,600 bid during an auction of
preparing a meal at the highest bidder's home. Center photo,
Mike Johnson, Keisha Deering and James Reed prepare the entry
with instructor Chef Freridge's guidance. Hidden by his work,
guest sculptor Steve Latham finishes an ice creation for the
class.
