Combining Search Operators

You can combine search operators to narrow your search by specifying additional query details in parenthesis. For example, if you wanted to locate only those documents that contain the word support AND any one of the words downloads, patches, OR upgrades, you could type

support AND (downloads OR patches OR upgrades)

QuickFinder™ would then return any documents containing support and any one of the three specified words.

You can also add another level of parenthesis. For example:

support AND (downloads AND (patches OR upgrade OR service))

Placing a NOT in front of a group reverses the meaning of that group. For example:

Novell AND client AND access NOT (groupwise OR webaccess)
