Many file formats, including HTML, contain special fields within the file containing information about the document, such as author, description, title, abstract, keywords, language, creation date, subject, editor, account, and document type. This could include any META tag you define.
QuickFinder™ lets you perform a field search to locate documents containing information in a specific field using the syntax /fieldname=search criteria.
For example, if you knew that documents on your intranet Web server contained a META tag field named Author, you could enter /Author=James AND Warren in the QuickFinder field. QuickFinder would return all documents containing a META tag called Author and where the words James and Warren appear in the Author META tag.
HINT: In HTML documents, META tags are located within the HEAD tag section. You can use any of the QuickFinder operators, switches, and wildcards with a field search provided they follow the syntax /fieldname=search_string.
