Support Contacts for Educational Technology Projects
- Associate Vice President of Educational Technology
Responsible for the overall management of Educational Technology
at the college. Includes the management of Distance Learning, Online Courses, Computer-Enhanced courses
and other Instructional Technologies. Approves applications for
new online courses and provides assistance to faculty who develop computer-enhanced or complete online
courses or who pursue new educational technologies.
- Coordinator of
Instructional Design & Support Services
Advice on pegagogy, presentation, planning, and appropriate technologies
to employ for specific learning objectives. The instructional
designer works with faculty to creatively develop ideas
and ensure sound pedagogy in the selection of appropriate methodologies
for delivering subject matter and in the application of technology to different
forms of instruction.
- Instructional Support Specialist: Ron Robertson (822-1118)
Works with the Coordinator of Instructional Design & Support Services.
Provides Blackboard and other software assistance to faculty for website development and other
instructional technologies.

Hines
Advice & training in using Micosoft Office, Corel, GroupWise, and other software. Also, training
in scanning, capturing audio & video, storage & organization
of files. Production and assistance with using animation and interactive
learning modules on the web or LAN.
- Learning Systems (Blackboard) Administrators: Dave
Hodge(822-1992), Bill Harlow (822-7367)
BlackBoard Administrator; creates course accounts, enrolls students,
loads course cartrideges, provides technical support to faculty
and students.
- Media Services: Tom
Lee (822-1933)
Advice & assistance with developing and using
audio, video, and slideshows.
- Teaching, Learning and Techology Committee: Issues & concerns relating to policies,
procedures, support, and TCC's Technology Plan
- Director of Audiovisual Services - John Morea (822-1932)
Development and classroom support for presentation and instructional technologies, especially master presentation stations (MPS), projectors, media production, and video conferencing.

Webservices: Tom Feist, Webmaster and Ruth Midgett, Assistant Webmaster
Administers TCC's Public website ( www.tcc.edu ) and intranet
(insidetcc.tcc.edu) . Websites for departments, programs, and
special projects. Support services include but are not limited
to: server space, server rights, problems publishing or connecting
using FTP or Dreamweaver
