Why do I need a faculty website?

With a faculty website you can post information about the classes you teach, your office hours, have your class syllabus online, etc. What makes a faculty website different from BB is that anyone can access the information.

Consider your faculty website as a chance for your students to "meet" you before they take your class.

I can't connect to my faculty webspace through my FTP program?

Depending on what program you are using the setting may vary slightly.

For Dreaweaver have your setting set up a shown here if this doesn't work try these settings.

Firefox has a free extension called FIREFTP. If you are using this follow these settings else these settings

If you get an ERROR 550 this means that more than likely your password has expired or you are using an outdated password.

Also note that you can only acces the faculty webpages' server during these times

Mon- Sat 7:00 am - 10:30 pm
