Students present in the United States on certain temporary visas may be denied admission or restricted to incidental study, defined as part-time study that is avocational or recreational and does not lead to a specific educational or professional objective. Students in restricted categories will be limited to one course each semester, with enrollment approved by TCC’s International Student Services office.

Tidewater Community College welcomes applications from international students wishing to attend TCC in F1 status. The International Student Services office provides immigration advising and admission assistance to students seeking admission to the College in F-1 visa status.
