If English is not your first language, you must document English proficiency or take the Compass/ESL placement test before enrolling in any courses at the college.  If the test results indicate that you need ESL instruction, you must successfully complete the required ESL courses before enrolling in any non-ESL courses.  TOEFL test reports do not exempt students from a placement test.
