TCC students joined hundreds
of their peers in Richmond for legislative visits and a rally
with the governor in February 2004. Students and other members
of the education and social services communities helped raise
awareness of funding issues and needs. On Feb. 4 students
heard an update from VCCS Chancellor Glenn DuBois on community-college
topics. Joined by TCC President Deborah DiCroce on Feb. 9,
they heard a talk by Gov. Mark Warner on education plans.
